The little cat hits send!
So today after I posted I ran out to the yard to weed a little (ended up being about 5 gallons worth of weeds). Anyway, there I was about to start pulling and yanking and up comes the pup with the news that "it's hatched!" I was surprises as the chrysalis I spotted the other day on the banana, didn't look anywhere near ready...
However I had forgotten that a week or so ago while prepping the garden for a salad planting that we had unintentionally dislodged a chrysalis. We did what we could to save it, it still had it's little hook so we attached it to a twist-tie and left it hanging in a corner in the green house. Well today...
Yup, born in last nights wind storm, this delicate little creature spread it's wings this afternoon and took a little piece of us with it.
