Getting ready to buy a house!
Learned so much in the last week. We know we're am not looking for short sales or bank owned properties. It must have a minimum of 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and a 2 car garage and be on the market for $550,000 or less. The lot size is key although in the right neighborhood we're negotiable.
We really won't be ready to buy for a couple more months as we are currently moving money around from trusts etc. Our credit is rosy and our broker is looking at an 80-10-10. I am getting excited as I watch this line up. We viewed a house this week, more as a dry run than an actual put money down and it was interesting to see how I began to look at areas that are local to me (more on that as it gestates).
