With a little help from Sephi!

Recently I was on a trip up north when I stayed with my friend Sephi, for those of you into photography, might I suggest checking out her photos!
Anyways while there we visited a local tulip festival and we both took some pics, mine were OK, but hers were amazing so I will show you some of those first...

It all starts with the first one...

I love the color on this one...

The way these light up like votive holders is amazing...

And then there was this shot that is just lovely...

The festival truly was a perfect symphony of color...

Not to mention a cascade of beauty...

And then there was a surprise guest...

Yes, that's an eagle!

Anyway after a beautiful day out we went home and there I saw Sephi editing and adjusting her pics, oddly this was something that I had never done past cropping, anyway I came away with a bunch of cool ideas and am now playing happily!

Here are some of my efforts...
Sephi showing me how, as I play with my fisheye feature...

Here's my little rebel...

Check out Sephis' for contrast...

You know I love bark...

I really love bark...

Or maybe it's the moss...

The water fall and everything after this is from home...

Artichokes and loquats looking vaguely late 60's polaroid-ish...

Antique rose...

And finally our pomegranate is in bloom...
