Once more in honor of the Year of the Dragon...

A little citrus from the yard...

Here are our tanors, they are as they suggest a tangerine orange hybrid that we are looking forward to getting our teeth into for the first time this year...

Then their are our kumquats, they are Meiwa's, which are the sweeter of the varieties available here.

This was them couple of weeks ago.

But today they look juicy and sun kissed!

How could you not want some of these?

Love the fresh sunkissed fruit!
Here I am over the top picking fresh lemons from the trees! Nothing better than off the vine into the mouth!

Naturegirl, I came across sweet lemons for the first time this year and I soooo want one. Maybe I will push for one as we already have 2 lime trees an tanor, and a kumquat. It would be better than an orange.

Dear Joy, they are yummy, they are sweet with a citrus tang and a hint of licorice. You eat them skins and all.
Sweet lemons are real, they are sweet as an orange with a lemon taste and not too much acidity, but my husband has said no :-(
