Last night was awful!
I've never seen poor Purps so twitchy, she was flinching and skittish for most of the night.
I finally got her to settle on my lap while I knitted, but she was very wary.
Today she is just recovering her composure by taking a well deserved nap...
or two.
I nearly missed this weeks tea cup...
It belonged to the mother of my friend Mordecci...
It was gifted to me by his wife Larissa on the occasion of my Ladies Tea
(I really didn't want to deal with any silly girly stuff the night before I walked down the isle).
I really like it blends it's designs.
And I do believe that it's the closest thing to a
Red White and Blue cup that you will find in my collection!

Oh no! Did something happen to the poor little one? I wonder why she was like that?
These tea cups of yours are endlessly beautiful and amazing.
Hey there, The Purps was not a big fan of the 4th of July.
Ahhh, I was guessing it was the fireworks that bothered her. A cat I had years ago totally lost it from New Year's fireworks and trashed my house- including knocking framed pictures off the walls!
Sorry to hear Purps did not like the fireworks! But that is a lovely tea cup.
What a pretty cup. And I love the way kitty blends into the sofa.
You will be in the Bay Area in September??? Wouldn't it be nice to arrange a meet-up?
That would be cool!
